NEW YORK — A New York woman was arrested on Friday in connection with the fatal crash of a passenger car in Queens.
The 34-year-old woman, who has not been identified, was charged with causing the death of 33-year old Karen Kipnis in Queens on Saturday morning.
Kipnis, of Brooklyn, was driving the Mercedes-Benz S500 on I-490 when it hit a tractor trailer and rolled down the median.
Kopilos was the only passenger in the car.
He died at the scene.
The crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in Queens, about two hours west of Manhattan.
